Why Pursue a Career in the Trades?
Trade jobs are specialized crafts that require advanced training and education. Whether you’re interested in construction, automotive, culinary arts, cosmetology, or another vocational path, these careers offer stability, competitive salaries, and the opportunity to work hands-on in industries that are always in demand.

Scholarship Details
The Trade Scholarship Fund is designed to support students pursuing vocational trade certificates or degrees. Scholarships range from $1,000 to $5,000, helping you cover the cost of education and training programs, including apprenticeships, on-the-job training, and specialized education programs.

Who Can Apply?
To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Reside in the greater Stanislaus County region.
  • Be pursuing a certificate or degree in vocational trades.
  • Have been accepted into a program starting within the next 12 months.
  • Be a high school/HSE, GED, college, re-entry, or continuing student.
  • Complete the scholarship application and three essay questions (maximum 200 words per question).

Important Dates
Applications and essays are due by Friday, April 4, 2025, at 5:00 PM. Scholarship winners will be announced the week of April 28, 2025.
